 Frequently Asked Questions
Question: 'I installed everything but my remote control could work better. Is there a solution ?

Answer: Place your cable box sideways in the HDMEDIAPACKG3 instead of face up or face down. We found that most remotes work better if you do this. In addition, look at the back of your cable box or receiver. Many of them have a jack in the back of them (called IR Remote Input) so that you can extend the IR target to the front of your TV. See Amazon part number B002JSDHCY made by Infrared Resources.

Also check with the manufacture of the device you are using. For example, Verizon FIOS sells the remote extender for the Motorola QIP-7000 here:

There are also various signal extenders and adapters you can purchase to bring the remote control signal of your device to the front where your remote can always see it.

Answer: Ace Hardware, Home Depot and Lowes sell a wide array of fasteners and they employ experts to help you choose the right solution for your installation.
